Known For The Details Event Consulting provides successful planning and execution for both nonprofit events and weddings—so you can focus on what matters most: your mission or your moment. We take care of the logistics, allowing you to invest your time in donor relationships, community impact, or simply enjoying your celebration. KFTD Event Consulting delivers exceptional service for clients throughout southern Ontario.

Whether you're just getting started or refining an existing plan, our event consulting services provide expert guidance to help align your event with your goals, budget, and timeline. For those looking for more hands-on support, our event planning services cover everything from concept to execution—we manage logistics, vendors, timelines, and all the moving pieces, specializing in mission-driven and detail-rich events like fundraisers and weddings. And when the big day arrives, our day-of coordination ensures everything runs smoothly—we’re on-site to manage the schedule, troubleshoot issues, and keep things flowing so you can stay present and focused. This is especially ideal for small teams, volunteer-led organizations, or couples who want peace of mind knowing someone reliable is behind the scenes.

Our Founder

Sarina Rillo, founder of KFTD Event Consulting, discovered her passion for event coordination at a young age, frequently organizing events for friends and family. This early interest solidified during her first university co-op, where she found a calling to serve non-profit organizations through event planning. Working within a large church while simultaneously attending and serving at a smaller one, Sarina observed a disparity in resources and capabilities between the two. Her subsequent co-op as the lead event coordinator for a non-profit further illuminated the gap between the needs of non-profits and the expertise of event coordinators. 


At the same time, Sarina discovered a deep passion for wedding coordination. She genuinely enjoys managing the little details that often overwhelm others, and finds joy in keeping things organized, calm, and on track. As a former bride herself, she understands just how important it is to have someone you trust running the day, so you can simply enjoy it. Helping couples turn their vision into a smooth, stress-free celebration is one of her favorite parts of the job.


Sarina's experiences, coupled with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree, inspired her to establish KFTD Event Consulting. Ultimately merging her love for event coordination with her heart to give back. In her free time, Sarina enjoys restoring thrifted furniture with her husband, spending time with her dog, and making the most of every season—boating through Muskoka in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
